I have expressed life thru art and sought to make a connection of man to nature.
The process of wood firing ceramics in wind tunnel kilns molded my character and has been the creative touchstone that changed my aesthetic focus.
The kiln served as a tool for finishing work as well as an engine for creative innovation linking the poetics of clay to my vision.
A collaborative vocabulary of expressionism emerged that blended both historical references and contemporary intellectual values.
